Zbrush custom alpha bitmap to material I was going crazy looking for the image files. Any ideas? Alphas created within ZBrush will be 16 bit or 8 bit depending on how they were created. You can of course load your own images for use as alphas using the Load Alpha button in the Alpha palette. A high value will make large changes to the alpha to make it seamless while a low value will make minor changes.

Can you transfer morph targets zbrush to unreal engine 4 You can however create a zscript that loads your desired alphas for you. Within the palette, you can also click one of the small thumbnails that show recently used alphas, to select it. The materials assigned to those slots are part of the Zbrush executable, as far as I understand. Materials cannot be excluded either. Thanks for the info.

For best results, image files should be flattened 16 bit grayscale , saved without compression. Figure out what you want to do, whether it is to make this alpha mask etc make a custom brush, or perform some tedious thing that you do alot of. Convert it to a Polymesh and save it. Is this done by using a material texture ,and is it possible to apply more than one fiber material in different places to one object. I missed an important step here!
